In Design & Technology We will endeavour to :

• Improve each students graphical and creative thinking skills.
• Encourage a love of practical work.
• Encourage each student to present his/her work to the best of his/her ability.
• Encourage each student to plan, her/his work and develop creative problem solving skills.
• Provide an environment and atmosphere in which each student will reach his/her full potential in all strands and key stages of the Design and Technology curriculum.
• Provide opportunities for each student to experience different materials and design software.
• Encourage each student to share ideas and work co-operatively with other pupils.
• Encourage an element of self-assessment.
• Set realistic and achievable targets.
• Celebrate success.
