 The Technology Department has four full time members of staff who use five specialist rooms within the school. There are two rooms used for Graphic Products, a fully equipped workshop and a Food and textiles room.
All rooms have a number of networked computers which have internet access, along with various technology software for the subjects. This is a very busy department, the rooms are available for use during lunchtimes and evenings, and each year a great variety of two and three dimensional items are designed and made by the students.

 In Key Stage 3 students design and manufacture a range of products using wood, metal and plastics. Usually a group will manufacture an item of a similar type, but have some scope to personalize their product within the limitations of the materials provided and processes available. In Key Stage 4 students will have the opportunity to design and produce products of a much more individual nature. |
