St Peter’s Catholic College of Maths and Computing is part of the Redcar and Eston School Sport Partnership. Being part of the partnership gives the school a School Sport Co-ordinator, Michelle Bruin, who does a lot of work to improve the sporting opportunities available to pupils at St Peter’s. Due to big lottery funding, more after school clubs are now available to pupils, including trampolining, cheerleading, badminton, volleyball and climbing. Pupils are also able to take part in a wider range of competitions, including the Redcar and Cleveland Super Team Challenge, in April, which saw 15 Y8 pupils win the Y8 category.
