Ready To Learn

r2learn.gifI must have a bag big enough for school books, which I carry round school with me at all times

In the bag I must have for each lesson of the day my planner, pencil case, pen, pencil, ruler and rubber, and PE kit for the days I need it.

Homework is part of my schoolwork, and I need to record it in my planner and complete it in the time given.

My planner must be signed weekly by my parent/carer and tutor

I must wear the school uniform – black smart school trousers or skirt (not jeans), white shirt tucked in, sweatshirt (unless I am told I may remove it), plain black shoes (not trainers or boots). My trousers should not be tucked into my socks. Trainers are only allowed in PE lessons.

I am allowed to wear small plain gold or silver stud earrings only, and a watch. Any other piercing or jewellery is not allowed.

Make up is not part of the uniform, so if it is obvious you will be asked to remove it. Hairstyles should also be plain in style and colour.

My coat, scarf, hat and gloves are for wearing only outside.

Chewing gum is not allowed in school at all.

Eating and drinking, apart from plain water are not allowed in class time.

MP3 players, earphones and similar are not allowed in school and are not allowed in sight or use in school. Mobile phones also must be switched off and stay in my locker or bag during school time. If they are visible in school time, the teacher has a right to remove them to be returned later at their discretion. If I need to contact home during the school day I should get permission to use the school phone.
